🧭 Guide

Test Overview A grand 13-day journey retracing the footsteps of the 14th-century Moroccan traveller Ibn Battuta the length of Serendib — the island the Arabs knew as the land of cinnamon, spices, pearls and sacred mountains. The itinerary spans Negombo's fishing village, the Islamic heritage of Puttalam and Kandy, the tea country and pilgrimage trail of Hatton (including Adam's Peak), a wildlife safari in Yala, the southern heritage of Matara and Galle, the ancient mosques and river safari of Beruwala, and the markets and monuments of Colombo. Along the way, the tour weaves in mosque visits, Islamic university history, tea estate culture, wildlife encounters, coastal relaxation and a community visit, all supported by Halal cuisine throughout.
